The benefits of Information  Technology provides students and teachers with countless opportunities, which were not available  in the past. The possibilities of information technology are just infinite. The technology is opening up new methods to be employed while teaching a foreign language.

However, seeking for new methods of encouraging students to learn, several factors should be taken into consideration.

Firstly, it is the teacher who still is the guide who helps acquire the accuracy and fluency. Thus, it  is essential for the teacher to display enthusiasm and creativity.

Moreover, teachers should have a good command of computers. They should be familiar with the technology and its potential uses. It seems obvious that to take advantage of the technology the learner’s computer should be of proper quality.

All those factors should  be considered when it comes to planning a language course with the use of IT.

Once we have planned a language course based on information technology teachers and students  might enjoy the sheer pleasure of all the benefits that the technology brings.
