Recently I have been at a brilliant performance in Silesian Wyspiański Theatre. The title was the Endgame by Samuel Beckett. Splendid , just outstanding.
Enjoyable as it was to watch, the plot and the meaning was not so easy to grasp. It was so called gallows humour. You have to think deeply to catch the right meaning and have some general knowledge about the world. To be frank the truth presented there is rather saddening .It shows our life , in particular its ending, not in very britgth colours , it may even be called a bitter end.
I recommend it, though. And I would like to highly recommend another book, play by Samuel Beckett , that is Waiting for Godot. It made an indelible impression on me. I read it some time ago, but it is worth reading anew.
